Dear Supporter,
In the ten years since I first met B1G1 founders Masami Sato and Paul Dunn, they have funded nearly 2,000 loans for MicroLoan Foundation Australia through their B1G1 initiative. This amazing initiative encourages businesses around the world to give to charities such as ours through donating a small portion from each sale. It has meant a lot to us, as a small charity run entirely by volunteers here in Australia, to have this level of global support and recognition, together with the support of so many people around Australia like you.
We were very proud of B1G1 when we heard that they had put together a series of worthy charities assisting people and animals affected by the devastating bushfires here in Australia and were encouraging their supporters to help. Given the enormity of what has been happening, the MicroLoan Foundation Board has chosen to temporarily suspend our fundraising appeal and instead offer you the opportunity to help those so terribly affected by the fires through the B1G1 Emergency Disaster Relief Project. Below is an extract from some of the projects they are supporting and the buttons through to their appeal fund.
Meantime, we will be in touch again soon and look forward to sharing with you more success stories from our work in southern Africa where some incredible women continue to build amazing businesses and transform their lives and their communities.
Sincerely,
Brian

Blaze Aid – Support the Victims and Communities
We’ve just made this Emergency Disaster Relief Project available via B1G1. Giving any amount to this project will help the people affected by the bushfire receive short, mid and long-term relief, to build new fencing and to be supported by community-based volunteers. Of course, 100% of your giving will be passed on to the important work when you give via B1G1. You can give to this project here.

B1G1’s Worthy Cause Partner, Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital is currently treating many burned animals and every bit of support will help them save more lives. In addition, they also deliver medical supplies to the very forefront of the fires. Support this project here.

If you want people you’re connected with to give to these projects, you can collect contributions from your friends and families to give on their behalf or create a Campaign for them to give to and the impacts you have made.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support.
In times like this, we can all come together and make a real, lasting difference.
