Liliosa is 38 and a member of the Progress loan group. She is from the Chivu district in Zimbabwe but moved to Domboshawa when she married her husband, who is a teacher in the local school. Liliosa wants to use her $200 loan to purchase chickens to rear and sell alongside her current business. Currently, she travels to Botswana and South Africa to purchase second-hand clothes, tennis shoes and tracksuits.
Liliosa has three children and wants them all to get a good education, as she did not get this opportunity and only completed Form 4. She is very proud that her eldest is currently taking their A-Levels and she wants her other two children to be able to do the same. She says that her primary motivation when she goes to work each day is to provide her children with an education and
being able to afford medical care for her elderly mother.
